Theme: Songs for International Sex Workers Day.

International Sex Workers Day
is marked annually on June 2 to honour sex workers and call attention to the often inhumane conditions of their work. While some choose sex work voluntarily, too many – too often underaged – are forced into it, by their dire circumstances, because they are being exploited, or because they are victims of human trafficking.

Some of these songs are explicitly about sex workers or are sung from their perspectives, some of them mention sex workers as part of the stories they’re telling, and some of them are implicitly about sex workers.
